Client Maintenance

This guide is for operators who will be monitoring and responding to alarm activations. After completing all training sessions you will be able to load Patriot and confidently find and open client accounts, find and open activations from the Actiavations window and respond to them. This includes responding to standard alarms, auto status alarms such as late to close alarms and also no signals received events.

1 Creating a New Account

This tutorial goes through the process of creating a new blank account and flling in all of the critical client information in an accounts tabs. This includes contact information, users, zones, floorplans, schedules, polling and panel type.





2 Creating an Account with a Template

Creating a new account with the use of a template will quickly and accurately fill in account information on the new account. This can make setting up complex accounts or accounts with specific bureau or dealer settings much easier.





3 Reviewing the History of an Account

Operators will need to review the signal and operator note history of accounts. These details are found in an accounts history tab and this tutorial shows you useful features to search for information and explore an accounts history.





4 Multi Area Account Maitenance

The Area Menu is the main menu for viewing details, accessing other site areas and adding in additional areas for a multi area or partition account. This tutorial also covers creating a multiarea account from the client account menu and how BASE accounts are the main source of linked data for multi area sites.





5 Advanced Panel Configuration

Advanced Panel cofnigurtion explores the cvarious options to tweak the panel type settings directly in the Event Type tab of an account. The tutorial also covers advnaced zone options and configuration and how addon templates can be configured.

You should now be able to create new accounts in Patriot and understand where all important information of a client is entered in an account. This includes how to create accounts as brand new blank accounts, creating an account from a template and creating milti area accounts. You should be able to navigate through multi area accounts using the areas menu and know what details are shown an what each button does in the areas menu.
