Text Message modules

GSM Modem module


A GSM Modem module allows sending and receiving of text messages through a physical GSM modem with a standard SIM card.

The GSM modem is used by many control rooms to send instant notifications of alarm events to dealers and site managers, manual text messages to users during response & web dispatch notifications to Patrols.

Text message alerts can also be sent to site security personnel so they can leave the monitoring station to attend to an alarm, while signals continue to be automatically processed and despatched to their mobile phones.

  • Bulk message features allow sending of a manual message or pre-set message to many users at one time.

  • Text messages can be both received and sent by Patriot with options to require acknowledgement.

  • Cancel sending incident notifications if an opening signal is received within predefined time

Requirements: Compatible AT Commands GSM Modem such as a Sierra FX30S LTE M1 or a Sierra GL8200. A compatible SIM card from a local telecommunications provider.

SMS Gateway modules


Sending text messages through a online SMS Gateway can allow larger control rooms & control rooms that send a significant amount of text messages each day to send a larger quantity of messages, quickly, while not requiring a physical GSM Modem.

  • Send automatic incident and Late To Close notifications etc as well as manual messages to dealers, patrols and end users.

  • Bulk message features allow sending of a manual message or pre-set message to many users at one time.

  • Pre-configure the message content with text or dynamic content based on signal, account, user or dealer/bureau details.

  • Uses the internet so no physical GSM modem is required.

  • SMS Gateway modules include SMS Global, Twilio, Clickatell, uFone, mGate, Emalify and Telekom Slovenia.

Requirements: Control room must have an internet connection and an account setup with compatible SMS Gateway (SMS Global, Twilio, Clickatell, uFone, mGate, Emalify and Telekom Slovenia)

Email module


Automate email reports and send out email incident notifications with the Email module.

Features:

  • Configure and send out reports based on schedules including the ability to combine reports from multiple sites into one email.

  • Send reports in PDF, Microsoft Word & Excel format.

  • Email incident and Late To Close notifications to users automatically.

  • Send out Web Dispatch notifications to Patrols and Patrol companies

  • Receive emails and alarms from different devices and services including Navman device, NxWitness CCTV systems and custom email formats. Additional modules required

Requirements: An SMTP email mail provider or OAuth Office 365 account.

Customisable Message Templates for Notifications


Create and send unique text message, email notifications and web dispatch email alerts with Patriot customisable message templates.

  • Over 40+ optional fields that can be added into emails and text messages

  • Use HTML to add images, adjust font, hyperlinks and style to your email and Web Dispatch notifications

  • Use regex options and if / then statements to dynamically add in or filter out fields or data. This allows you to add in custom details if the notification is going to specific Bureau / Dealer customers such as custom logos or call back numbers.

  • Online documentation, examples and basic templates to start creating powerful custom notifications right away.
