Alarm Attendance
This guide is for operators who will be monitoring and responding to alarm activations. After completing all training sessions you will be able to load Patriot and confidently find and open client accounts, find and open activations from the Actiavations window and respond to them. This includes responding to standard alarms, auto status alarms such as late to close alarms and also no signals received events.

The Activations Window is where we will find events that require operator response. This tutorial highlights the important details of events in the activation window and the various buttons available.
4 Processing a Standard Alarm Activation
Its time to pick up and activation, follow through the response process and complete the alarm.
5 Hold Or Sleep
Some alarms can not be completed right away so they will need to be put on hold or to sleep. This tutorial will explain both options and provide examples on when to use them.
6 Alarms with Special Options
Some alarm events have special option buttons in the alarm attendance window. This tutorial explains how to use the Late to Close and No Signals Received special option buttons.

As an operator you should now have an understanding of the signals and activations windows and the difference between signals that require response and those that do not. You should also be able to distinguish the different types of alarm activations and know how to select them and respond to them as required.
