System Generated Types are event types that are internally generated by Patriot. These event types need to be entered into each template with an appropriate Action Plan assigned. The Normally Set As field in the table below should indicate the type of Action Plan expected for each type.
The latest version of the System Generated template can be downloaded for import into Patriot from Receivers & Format Templates.
Select the Maintenance Menu Item.
Select Clients.
Select Templates. (If adding System Generated Types to a template).
Highlight the template/client record e.g. SYST-0001-01 and click Edit.
Select the Event Types tab.
Click Add to Insert a new signal type.
Enter the Type No e.g. 65,001.
Enter the Description e.g. Client late to close.
Click on Action Plan and select the All tab.
Highlight the suggested Action Plan e.g. 'System Alarm' and click Select. (these can also be set to a custom action plan or alternative plan if your system setup requires it.)
Save the new event type.
Repeat from step 6 above until all System Generated Types have been entered.
Save changes to the template.
You can use the Copy button to copy types from one template/client record to another. To use this feature no type entries may currently exist in the template/client record you are copying into.
