Patriot's Client Reminder feature allows one-off or recurring signals to be automatically generated against client accounts. Client Reminders have a variety of use cases for Patriot operators, the most common would be to remind operators of a scheduled job requested by a client.
There are three default reminder types, these are: 'Alarm Reminder', 'Non-Alarm Reminder' and 'Guard Tour' with Patriot signal types 65250, 65251 and 65252 respectively.
Additional client reminder types can be configured with the Maintenance -> General -> Client Reminders tool. The allowable range of Patriot signal types for custom client reminders is 65250 - 65299.
A customised list of Client Reminders
Once a new reminder type is saved a corresponding Event Type needs to be configured for each client which will use the new Reminder Type. It is the client's Event Type definition (from template or otherwise) which will determine the Action Plan chosen for a given elapsed reminder.
For example, to create an activation against a client when the default 'Alarm Reminder' (65250) reminder expires, you would also need to setup this event type (65250) in the event type template the client uses, and assign to it a priority action plan.
Note: all client reminders are system wide, this means every custom client reminder created will be available to every client account in Patriot's database.
