Selecting Work Orders from Maintenance menu -> Clients -> Work Orders opens the Work Orders window with all the outstanding work orders displayed. From this window you can Change, Delete or print the work orders using the corresponding buttons.
Selecting Work Orders tab of a client record shows all outstanding and completed work orders for this client. From the Work Order client tab you can Add, Change or Delete work orders. To print the client Work Order Report select client Reporting tab and use corresponding button.
Click the Insert button to add a new work order. Select a Work Due By date for when this work order should be complete(The default Work Due By days can be changed in System Settings -> General Client Settings -> Work Orders Settings.) , select a To Be Billed date for when this work order should be billed(The default Billing Due days can be changed in System Settings -> General Client Settings -> Work Orders Settings). In the details section, enter a Description of the work required.
Charges can be assigned to a work order under Selected Charges by using Add and Insert buttons. Double click on assigned charges to set Amount and Units. Once complete, a work order billing run can be generated to produce a list of charges assigned to work orders. This is covered by the billing support module. One off charges that need to be applied to a client is best handled by inserting a work order, and assigning a charge to the work order. Charges can be set up by selecting Billing icon -> Billing -> Master Charges.
Work Orders can also be rasied from the Activation Report Window when attending to an alarm.
